it makes me smile thinking about ronan taking adam to an ice rink to skate, and holding adam’s hand the entire time to help him keep his balance. ronan skates backwards, holding both of adam’s hands and only letting go when adam asks him to. they make fun of the cheesy christmas songs playing, even though both of them end up singing along under their breaths at some point. they fall down a couple of times of course, adam losing his balance while holding ronan’s arm, going down in a pile of limbs and laughter. but for the most part it’s adam grinning at ronan every time he makes progress, and ronan losing his shit at holding adam’s hands for a full hour and watching adam smiling and having fun
